Banu Dedeman was born in Ankara in 1975. Receiving her business administration degree from the University of Miami, Banu Dedeman started her career at Dedeman Group as an Executive Candidate in 1993. Working in corporate communication, finance and accounting departments until 1998, Banu Dedeman acted as the Board Member of Dedeman Holding and the Director of Corporate Projects from 2002 to 2004. Banu Dedeman also assumed an active role in the restructuring of the Holding and in transition to the Corporate Governance Principles within the same period. Acting as the Managing Director of Decar Rent A Car operating under the group between 2004 and 2007, Banu Dedeman still holds the position of Board Member for Dedeman Holding, Dedeman Mining and Dedeman Tourism Management companies affiliated to Dedeman Group.

Banu Dedeman is the mother of one child.
